To say that Clyde does not know much about guns is an understatement. He does, however, know much about female bodies.
And if you look carefully it's apparent that the 'extension cord' is his attempt to put a sling on it.
Also that the basic weapon is an M-16A1 with what appears to be a gigantic silencer.
